Good Wood Furniture began in 1986, as a small family business on Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.  Yes, that's right, we have been serving our valued customers for over 30 years with a smile.  Some of our customers will know us best by our former name Budget Pine Furniture.  Being a family owned business we have always strived to build a strong relationship with our clients and manufacturers.  We offer a quality product, friendly customer service and years of experience.

At Good Wood Furniture, we have always been keen to sell Australian made furniture and support our hardworking local manufacturers.   As a result, we are proud to say that all of our pieces are made using Sydney manufacturers. Our commitment to quality and supporting Australian jobs means that we are enthusiastic about utilising the skills of our excellent craftsmen and women in the Australian furniture industry.

We believe strongly in supporting the environment by choosing to use a quick-growing and sustainable timber such as Australian and New Zealand radiata pine to make our furniture.  The forest from where our pine is sourced is guaranteed for the long-term, providing a renewable resource whilst simultaneously protecting and managing the environment.  Also available is Tasmanian Oak hardwood or locally made melamine furniture for those who are looking for attractive furniture at a budget price.

Pine is a Good Wood, it produces a product which is strong, durable and more affordable than hardwood.  Pine is versatile enough to be made into a variety of styles to suit different tastes and budgets. Our pine pieces can be provided in the raw, natural state or choose from our selection of stained and painted finishes.

After 32 years operating from our showroom in Bondi Junction, we have decided to close our store and operate an online store.  Please scroll through our website, we hope it will inspire you and give you some ideas for your home.  From our website, you can choose from a range of items including wardrobes, linens, armchairs, chests of drawers, beds, bookcases and desks.  Styles included are Federation, Classic, Colonial and Modern.

We deliver to Sydney Metro areas only, sorry we do not deliver interstate.  We do local deliveries quickly and reliably.  Extra fees apply for delivery.
